Finance Manager Accused of Stealing $113K from Rosemount Area Athletic Association

An Apple Valley man is facing five felony counts of theft after allegedly stealing from the Rosemount Area Athletic Association.

The Dakota County Attorney’s Office says 62-year-old Robert Steven Reischauer stole about $113,532 while he was working as the association’s finance manager.

Fire Damages Roof of Inver Grove Heights Elementary School

A fire broke out on the roof of an Inver Grove Heights elementary school Monday night.

Firefighters were called to Pine Bend Elementary School on the 9800 block of Inver Grove Trail around 8:43 p.m. on a report of smoke. When crews arrived on the scene, they confirmed there was a fire on the roof.

Nine Twin Cities Rainbow supermarkets will close Tuesday as owner Roundy's exits the market.
The nine stores are left over from a deal announced in May, when a group of buyers purchased 18 other Rainbow locations and turned most of them into Cub Foods or Byerly's stores.

No Rain Lets Minnesota Farmers Get Field Work Done

Minnesota farmers were able to get a lot of field work done last week, thanks to the lack of rain.
According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, there were 6.2 days suitable for field work in Minnesota for the week ending Sunday. That marks the most days suitable for any week so far this season.
