An Anoka school, more than 100 years old, is getting a new lease on life. After two years of work, the original Anoka High School has been transformed into the Sandburg Education Building.

The original school was built in 1904, and was not handicap accessible which was a large part of the remodel.The floors were also refinished.

Over 1800 iPads are being used in Lakeville schools beginning in Early Kindergarten, all the way up through high school. The goal is to increase learning and engagement in a technology-driven world. Now the school district is trying to engage parents as well. They will be holding a free Introduction to iPad Class which is open to all parents in the district.
